Amazing Grace started with 7disabled women as a handmade group and now has 4 main staff providing technical and management. There are 15 artisans, 9
are persons with disabilities/ including physical and hearing disabilities. In 2014,
AG opened souvenirs shop in Yankin Township,Yangon and sell increasing range of products.

Amazing Grace is a local social enterprise making handmade jewelry and other fashion accessories using environmentally sustainable and ethical methods.
We use local materials and recycling waste products, in this way we show how beautiful and valuable things can be made from ordinary and worthless raw material and at the same time we also protect our environment.
In the same way by training and employing women, persons with disabilities as the main artisans, we can also enable them to develop demonstrate their abilities and talents, and to have a sustainable livelihood through dignified and creative work.
Through our networks with other organizations across the country, we are also able to source raw materials, products and designs.
A Brief Bio of Naw Eh Wah(Founder)
Naw Eh Wah, a dedicated entrepreneur from Myanmar, is the founder of Amazing Grace Crafts and Workshop. she has a deep passion for handcrafting that started in her childhood. With over 5 years of experience working with people with disabilities, she aims to empower them with valuable skills.
Naw Eh wah is also an active member of the Asia Women Social Entrepreneurship Network and has spoken as a Guest speaker at a workshop in Japan in 2018. Recently, she participated in a social exchange program in Germany, Berlin.
Since its establishment in 2014, Amazing Grace Crafts and Workshop has been a place where women, including those with disabilities, are trained and employed. The workshop produces a range of beautiful products, such as necklaces, earrings, key chains, and weaved baskets using local materials.
Naw Eh Wah’s favorite creation involves using traditional Myanmar women’s attire, called ‘Longyi,’ to make fabric beads for necklaces and earrings. She also incorporates recycled waste materials, like old newspapers and soda cans, in her designs to promote environmental sustainability.
The main goal of Amazing Grace is to show customers that waste products can be transformed into stylish and high-quality items. Naw Eh Wah’s workshop exemplifies creativity, compassion, and a commitment to making a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment.
